Know the monthly costs before you commit.

The $3,000 covers my work building the store. Running a store also has costs that go to other companies: the Shopify (or other platform) plan, any paid apps or premium themes, payment processing on each sale, and your domain. Those accounts are opened in your name and bill you directly. Before the build starts, you get a written list of the plan and apps your store needs, so the monthly number is clear up front.

  • Store platform plan, billed by the platform
  • Paid apps and premium themes, billed by their developers
  • Payment processing fees on each sale
  • Domain registration, billed by your registrar

Leave with a store you can manage.

Training covers the agreed store workflow, including product updates and order management. Care is available at $79/month for the ongoing website services described in that plan.

What you pay other companies.

My price covers my work. The services your website or store runs on are set up in your name and billed to you by those companies, so there is no markup from me. Before we start, you get a written list of every outside cost your project needs.

  • Domain nameAll packages

Yearly, paid to your domain registrar.

  • Store platform planCommerce

Shopify or a similar platform bills you monthly or yearly. Their plan includes store hosting.

  • Paid apps, themes and pluginsWhen needed

Billed by the app or theme developer. I name each one and its cost before anything is installed.

  • Payment processingCommerce

A fee on each sale, taken by Shopify Payments, Stripe, Square or PayPal.

  • Website hostingLaunch / Growth

Included with Care. Without Care, hosting runs on your own account and the host bills you.

  • Business emailOptional

Optional. Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 bill you directly.

A few useful answers

Can you build on Shopify?

Shopify is one option, as shown in The Plaster Hive project. The platform is confirmed against your catalog, business needs, and ongoing costs before the build.

Does the $3,000 include Shopify?

No. Shopify (or whichever platform we choose) bills you for its own plan, and its prices change over time, so we check the current plan together before starting. Apps and payment processing fees are also charged by those companies. The $3,000 is my build fee.

What if I have more than 25 products?

Each additional product is $8 for the agreed product-entry work. For example, 40 products would add $120 to the $3,000 build.

Does the package include every integration?

No. Specialist booking, delivery rules, POS connections, and other integrations need a defined scope before a price and timeline can be agreed.
